Descriere

  • Set technical direction, reference architectures, landing zones, and engineering standards across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
  • Create patterns for lakehouses, warehouses, streaming systems, data governance, and data quality.
  • Architect platform layers that move generative AI and agentic workloads from prototypes into production.
  • Define access controls, evaluation methods, observability, and cost controls for AI platforms.
  • Lead technical discovery, estimate and de-risk engagements, and produce solution designs and technical scopes.
  • Apply AI tools to discovery synthesis, design drafting, infrastructure and code generation, reviews, documentation, and estimation.
  • Develop repeatable AI-assisted patterns and prompts for broader team adoption.
  • Define safeguards for using AI with client and production data.
  • Own IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and logging strategies.
  • Design solutions that support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and regulated-industry compliance.
  • Account for operating costs, reliability objectives, observability, and rollback plans in solution designs.
  • Conduct design reviews and mentor architects and senior engineers.
  • Convert proven solutions into reusable accelerators.
  • Partner directly with Cloud BU leadership on engagement strategy and roadmaps.
  • Guide AI-focused initiatives from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.

Cerințe

  • At least 12 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or data engineering.
  • Several years serving as the accountable architect for large-scale production systems.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
  • Professional experience running Kubernetes in production.
  • Experience with Terraform or an equivalent infrastructure-as-code tool.
  • Ability to conduct credible pull request reviews.
  • Experience designing and delivering modern data platforms, including governance and data quality.
  • Security-focused experience with IAM, zero-trust networking, encryption, and audit readiness.
  • Demonstrated use of AI to reduce delivery time or increase output.
  • Ability to validate AI-generated work before it reaches production.
  • Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs to both CFOs and engineers.
  • Ability to operate through ambiguity and establish initial plans.
  • Preferred: production experience with generative AI or LLM systems, including RAG, evaluation, guardrails, or agent orchestration.
  • Preferred: enterprise-scale multi-cloud or hybrid architecture experience.
  • Preferred: experience in regulated industries.
  • Preferred, but not required: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or CKA certification.
  • Preferred: experience establishing an architecture practice or center of excellence.
