Descriere

  • Set and deliver the enterprise strategy for AI-enabled clinical excellence across Clinical Development.
  • Find high-value AI applications that shorten development timelines, improve quality and decisions, and reduce operational workload.
  • Advise senior leaders on emerging AI capabilities, industry developments, and competitive advances.
  • Expand AI use across study design, protocol optimization, feasibility, patient recruitment, trial execution, and clinical data review.
  • Lead AI initiatives that strengthen clinical trial performance, operational excellence, and portfolio decisions.
  • Enable predictive and prescriptive analytics for decisions at program and study levels.
  • Work with digital, data science, and technology teams to design, build, validate, and deploy AI tools and platforms.
  • Create scalable AI frameworks that fit into clinical development workflows.
  • Develop agentic AI, generative AI, predictive analytics, and workflow automation solutions.
  • Provide expertise on global regulatory expectations for AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics in drug development.
  • Establish AI governance, validation, and risk management practices with Regulatory Affairs and Quality.
  • Track changes in health authority guidance and industry standards.
  • Build partnerships across Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, Medical, Safety, and Digital.
  • Lead multidisciplinary AI innovation teams and support adoption through training, change management, and capability building.
  • Represent Pfizer at industry forums, consortiums, health authority discussions, and scientific conferences.
  • Build relationships with external partners, technology providers, and academic collaborators.
  • Travel occasionally as needed.

Cerințe

  • MD with at least 4 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, regulatory, or healthcare organizations; or a PhD in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Data Science, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience in those organizations; or an MS in one of these fields with at least 7 years of relevant experience in those organizations.
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions in clinical research.
  • Experience supporting Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Clinical Science, Clinical Data Review, or Regulatory Science.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs with clinical, regulatory, scientific, and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical trial conduct, drug development processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to turn complex scientific or operational challenges into scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
  • Excellent communication and executive influencing skills.
  • Expertise in Clinical Development, Oncology, Regulatory Science, Data Science, or Clinical Informatics.
  • Experience developing and deploying large language models (LLMs), generative AI, agentic AI systems, or workflow automation platforms in regulated settings.
  • Oncology experience.
  • Familiarity with emerging regulatory frameworks for AI-enabled drug development.
  • Experience engaging with global regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EMA, MHRA, PMDA, or Health Canada.
  • Experience leading enterprise AI transformation initiatives.
  • Strong publication record and scientific credibility in clinical research and AI innovation.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization is required.
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable now and in the future.
