Descriere

  • Lead the Baltimore electrical department.
  • Oversee selected projects while building a team equipped to deliver large regional and national work.
  • Provide engineering staff with technical guidance and expertise.
  • Support sales by building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Act as the department’s engineering leader and technical authority.
  • Resolve questions and issues raised by engineering staff.
  • Verify the accuracy of staff work and engineering methods.
  • Establish detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures.
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and lead department staff.
  • Conduct quality reviews and reinforce technical lessons and company processes.
  • Advise on staff performance, advancement, and potential.
  • Set and oversee project budgets and schedules.
  • Coordinate with managers, suppliers, and contractors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Assess workforce forecasts and identify staffing needs.
  • Promote ownership, accountability, and a strong company culture.
  • Work with partners and executives to advance the firm’s growth and quality objectives.
  • Support marketing and business development.
  • Identify prospective business opportunities.
  • Develop fees for complex projects with the leadership team.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Expand the volume and reach of the office market sectors.

Cerințe

  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical and fire alarm design.
  • Experience supervising a team.
  • Maryland professional engineer (PE) license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Strong technical writing and software skills, including Revit.
  • Sound knowledge of building codes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
