Descriere

  • Identify and translate emerging AI technologies, vendors, capabilities, and industry trends into opportunities for Pfizer’s U.S. Commercial organization
  • Lead horizon scanning, technology intelligence, capability assessment, scouting, rapid evaluation, and future-state planning
  • Track emerging AI technologies, startups, research, vendors, industry developments, and competitive activity
  • Prepare executive updates, AI outlooks, concept papers, opportunity briefs, and strategic recommendations
  • Assess technical feasibility, scalability, differentiation, data needs, integration, enterprise readiness, and business value
  • Convert emerging AI capabilities into U.S. Commercial use cases and future-state capabilities
  • Evaluate external AI ecosystem opportunities and recommend whether to monitor, test, partner, incubate, scale, or retire them
  • Design and oversee proofs of concept with defined learning objectives, evaluation criteria, success measures, and decision points
  • Manage a prioritized portfolio of emerging AI opportunities from initial signal through evaluation, experimentation, partnership recommendations, roadmap integration, or closure
  • Evaluate security, privacy, legal, regulatory, compliance, quality, and Responsible AI considerations
  • Collaborate with AI partnerships, product, applications, data strategy, transformation, governance, risk, architecture, digital, and business teams
  • Transfer approved partnership opportunities to the AI Partnerships & Ecosystem Lead for engagement and relationship management
  • Explain complex technical and market developments to business leaders and executive audiences
  • Potentially lead a small team and coordinate cross-functional evaluators, external experts, contractors, or project resources
  • Travel as required for business activities, conferences, technology evaluations, and team needs

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least eight years of progressive experience in AI, technology strategy, innovation, product strategy, architecture, consulting, emerging technology, or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of generative AI, agentic systems, machine learning, foundation models, and enterprise AI architectures
  • Experience assessing emerging technologies and converting technical concepts into business opportunities and strategic recommendations
  • Ability to analyze complex external landscapes, synthesize weak signals, and separate durable trends from hype
  • Experience producing executive-ready insights, business cases, opportunity briefs, or technology recommendations
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to senior business and technical leaders
  • Track record of working effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving, highly matrixed environments
  • Strong analytical, strategic, collaborative, and influencing abilities
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization
  • No current or future U.S. work visa sponsorship is available
  • Advanced degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, engineering, business, data science, or a related field
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or another highly regulated sector
  • Experience with innovation strategy, technology scouting, venture ecosystems, startup assessment, strategic partnership evaluation, or corporate development
  • Experience creating AI roadmaps and assessing AI investments or partnerships
  • Knowledge of U.S. Commercial pharmaceutical functions, customer engagement, marketing, market access, patient solutions, field enablement, or commercial operations
  • Strong familiarity with AI, technology, research, academic, startup, and innovation ecosystems
  • Experience designing and assessing rapid experiments or proofs of value
  • Ability to travel according to business requirements
  • Ability to collaborate across global teams and time zones
