Accounts Payable Specialist – Dubai (Hybrid)

Manage end-to-end accounts payable for Flowdesk’s international digital-asset finance operations in Dubai. Oversee invoices, reconciliations, payment controls, forecasting, and indirect tax compliance across multiple entities.

Descriere

  • Manage the complete accounts payable cycle for Group entities in the UK, US, France, UAE, Singapore, and Panama, from invoice receipt through payment and reconciliation
  • Accurately process and code supplier invoices, expense claims, and credit notes in NetSuite
  • Coordinate invoice approvals and keep payment schedules on track
  • Prepare multi-currency and multi-bank payment runs for review and release
  • Apply the four-eyes principle and established internal payment controls
  • Maintain supplier records, onboard vendors, verify bank details, and reduce payment-fraud risk
  • Complete monthly reconciliations between supplier statements, the AP subledger, and the general ledger
  • Support monthly close with accruals, prepayments, intercompany recharges, and AP ageing reports
  • Create rolling AP payment forecasts by entity and currency, escalating funding needs to Treasury
  • Maintain indirect tax compliance covering UK VAT, French TVA, UAE VAT, Singapore GST, US sales and use tax, and withholding taxes
  • Administer corporate cards and employee expenses while enforcing the travel and expense policy
  • Serve as the primary contact for supplier enquiries
  • Provide AP records and explanations to external auditors during year-end statutory audits
  • Build and document AP processes, policies, and controls while advancing standardisation and automation
  • Support finance initiatives such as entity launches, banking and system implementations, and process improvements
  • Report to the Group Financial Controller and collaborate with local finance teams, budget owners, external accountants, and vendors

Cerințe

  • Fully qualified accountant with five years of post-qualification experience
  • In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience supporting audit engagements
  • Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements, with scope to develop expertise in trading and crypto
  • Strong accounting-systems experience, preferably with NetSuite
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft and/or Google productivity tools
  • Fluent English is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisation
