Senior AI Engineer, LLM Workflows — Jeeves (Remote, Argentina)
Lead production LLM workflows for Jeeves’ stablecoin-powered banking platform. Build dependable AI systems for finance automation, monitoring, and regulated financial decisions.

- Lead finance workflows from initial problem definition through launch and continuous improvement.
- Develop agentic and LLM systems that combine extraction, retrieval, reasoning, and tool use, with human review where needed.
- Document system designs, assess build-versus-buy and model options, and define workflow success measures.
- Work with customers and internal finance teams to understand workflow needs and agree on completion criteria.
- Create production-ready LLM pipelines with well-designed prompts and context, structured outputs, validation, fallback behavior, and confidence scoring.
- Build retrieval-augmented generation components, including chunking, embeddings, vector search, and reranking.
- Connect AI services to backend systems through clear API contracts, retry handling, graceful degradation, and customer-level data isolation.
- Control model costs and response times.
- Create evaluation datasets and automated checks to detect regressions.
- Add logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerts to AI components.
- Keep audit records of AI decisions in regulated financial products.
- Develop shared AI engineering patterns, tools, and practices.
- Help the broader team use coding agents and AI tools effectively.
- Review colleagues’ AI system designs and share lessons learned.
Prasības
- Bring at least seven years of professional software engineering experience, including two or more years building and operating production LLM or AI systems.
- Have owned a substantial system or workflow from scoping and design through launch and iteration, working with limited direction.
- Have hands-on experience delivering LLM applications with APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar, including structured outputs, error handling, and evaluation.
- Have designed agentic or multi-step AI workflows involving tool use, orchestration, or human review, or built RAG systems with vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
- Be highly proficient in Python and have strong backend fundamentals, including REST APIs, PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database, asynchronous patterns, and experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex regularly, and be able to explain their strengths and limitations.
- Have experience monitoring AI systems with logs, traces, dashboards, and quality metrics.
- Be professionally fluent in spoken and written English.
- Preferred: Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated sector.
- Preferred: Experience automating finance or back-office processes.
- Preferred: Technical leadership of a project or a small engineering group.
- Preferred: Startup or scale-up experience building systems from the ground up.
- Preferred: Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
- Preferred: Contributions to open source, technical writing, or talks on applied AI.
