Apraksts

  • Lead and refine the month-end close process.
  • Deliver accurate financial statements on schedule.
  • Manage accounts receivable and collections, handling terminated accounts, disputes, and non-standard billing.
  • Oversee accounts payable, including vendor onboarding, payments, and platform troubleshooting.
  • Enforce expense reporting standards for corporate cards and reimbursements, including coding and documentation.
  • Work with the VP of Finance on cash flow forecasts and ongoing cash management.
  • Help implement and adopt finance tools, including collections automation and expense management platforms.
  • Standardize accounting procedures to reduce manual effort, rework, and errors.
  • Coach and support accounting team members.
  • Answer leadership’s ad hoc financial questions with sound, well-supported analysis.
  • Report to the VP of Finance.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and accounts receivable/payable management.
  • CPA certification or active CPA candidacy is strongly preferred.
  • Practical experience with QuickBooks Online.
  • Experience with accounts payable or collections tools such as Tipalti and Bill.com/Bill Spend & Expense.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, and Slides; able to build and maintain cash forecasts in Sheets.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools, particularly Claude, to improve accounting or finance workflows.
  • Able to provide concrete examples of AI use in the application and interview.
  • Strong organization and ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Clear communicator who can explain financial concepts to colleagues outside finance.
  • A focus on improving processes.
  • Occasional evening or weekend availability during month-end close periods.
  • Must live in the United States or Canada.
  • Visa sponsorship is unavailable.
