Negotiate provider agreements and manage network relationships for Humana’s Alabama Market. The remote role covers provider contracting, reimbursement analysis, and network recruitment across the region.

- Negotiate and execute contracts with physicians, hospitals, and other providers for Humana’s Alabama Market.
- Act as the primary contact for providers.
- Explain contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers.
- Assess the financial impact of contract terms.
- Track contracts and related documentation in a records system.
- Recruit providers to address network composition and needs.
- Advise executives on functional strategies and significant issues.
- Make decisions on complex matters independently, with minimal supervision.
- Travel to providers within the region up to 20% of the time.
Prasības
- At least five years of progressive network management and network administration experience in a healthcare company.
- At least two years of project leadership experience.
- Strong provider contracting skills, including negotiation, contract preparation and implementation, financial analysis, and rate proposal development.
- Must live within the region.
- Able and willing to travel to providers up to 20% of the time.
- Home or hybrid home/office setup must provide at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
- Work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI and HIPAA information.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with ACO or risk contracting preferred.
- Experience with value-based contracting preferred.
