Aprašymas

  • Provide analytics support for reinsurance, large employer proposals and accounts, ASO work, and state or federally mandated reporting.
  • Work with senior analysts and analytics managers across departments.
  • Extract data from warehouses and other nonstandard sources.
  • Clean, transform, and prepare data with tools such as T-SQL and SAS.
  • Help build interactive visualizations in Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Create reports and analytical solutions for proposal, employer, ASO, state, and federal requests.
  • Calculate and analyze value-based payment terms, and support monthly reporting and financial reconciliation.
  • Explain complex data, analyses, and findings clearly to teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and job aids.
  • Assess how business changes affect risk report specifications.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses of cost and utilization opportunities.
  • Assist with quality assurance, data validation, unit testing, error checks, and validation procedures.
  • Build health insurance business knowledge and expertise in assigned analytics support areas.
  • Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.
  • Carry out other assigned duties.

Reikalavimai

  • At least three years of experience in health insurance or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, health and medical economics, public health, or a similar research-related field.
  • General understanding of business principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to handle a workload in a team setting or with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to develop solutions to complex problems, anticipate issues, and identify ways to address them.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Ability to develop, document, and follow department policies and procedures.
  • General knowledge of at least one statistical or analytical programming tool, such as R, SAS, or SPSS.
  • General knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and web-based database tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to follow PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA requirements for protecting the confidentiality and security of protected health information.
  • Ability to understand spoken and written English.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Medicare Five-Star, Oregon Quality Incentive Measures and/or NCQA HEDIS, the Health Care Payment Learning & Action Network (LAN), the Alternative Payment Model framework, and the Facets claims processing system is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of medical costs is desired, as is experience with medical coding and terminology.
  • A master’s degree or higher is preferred.
