  • Lead Payments and Fraud services within Global Payments Technology
  • Build and manage a high-performing engineering organization
  • Review critical Java and Spring Boot code and contribute to high-risk releases
  • Own application availability and resiliency, including major-incident response, diagnosis, and remediation
  • Establish engineering standards across the full application lifecycle
  • Create reference implementations and targeted code changes that reduce delivery risk
  • Direct complex initiatives from planning through completion
  • Resolve escalated design and coding issues and review critical pull requests
  • Develop proofs of concept for proposed solutions
  • Set application strategy while improving APIs, service design, performance, scalability, and technical-debt reduction
  • Guide architecture, API and data design, secure coding standards, and reference solutions for OCP or Kubernetes
  • Manage strategic commitments and OKRs while governing delivery quality
  • Hold strategic vendors accountable for performance, risk, cost, delivery, technical design, and code quality
  • Lead distributed engineering teams across the United States and India
  • Develop engineering leaders and talent through hiring, coaching, design walkthroughs, code reviews, and pair programming
  • Advance responsible AI engineering adoption for prototyping, code quality, test automation, and vulnerability detection
  • Partner with Business, Risk, Architecture, and Platform stakeholders through technical analysis and solution development

Талаптар

  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military service, or education
  • At least 5 years of experience with Java web services, Spring Boot, Spring, domain-driven and event-driven design, automation, DevOps, Oracle, MongoDB, Kafka or IBM MQ, and SDLC tools
  • At least 5 years of experience developing talent and teams, forecasting finances, managing risk, and presenting to senior leadership
  • At least 4 years of cloud experience with OCP or Kubernetes
  • At least 4 years of experience with Agile methodologies
  • At least 3 years of management or engineering leadership experience
  • At least 1 year of demonstrated experience using AI-assisted code generation and test automation
  • Knowledge of and experience in the payments domain
  • Ability to manage a diverse, geographically distributed team
  • Experience supporting production teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing application environment
  • Demonstrated technical, hands-on experience driving architectural decisions
  • Ability to work onsite at one of the posted locations
