  • Shape Backblaze B2’s developer presence within the agentic technology ecosystem
  • Partner with the internal AI team to develop and deliver an agent-ready strategy across engineering, documentation, and content
  • Align engineering, documentation, content, solutions engineering, and other teams around a cohesive developer strategy
  • Communicate developer strategy and its outcomes to external audiences
  • Build credibility across GitHub, Discord, open source projects, developer events, and AI infrastructure communities
  • Amplify internal technical experts and cultivate thought leadership
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners
  • Create a continuous developer feedback channel for product and engineering teams
  • Identify adoption barriers, integration gaps, and emerging developer priorities
  • Use the Flamethrower Startup Program to gather feedback from early adopters
  • Establish success measures covering developer signups, activation, B2 adoption in AI frameworks, community participation, and content reach
  • Link awareness indicators to revenue and conversion outcomes
  • Begin as an individual contributor while influencing work through existing company resources

Талаптар

  • Substantial leadership experience in developer relations, developer marketing, or developer experience at a cloud infrastructure, open source, or AI tooling company
  • Demonstrated success building or substantially expanding a developer program
  • Clear understanding of how agentic workflows are changing developer discovery and infrastructure integration
  • Technical credibility demonstrated by reading code, assessing SDKs, building functional integrations, and discussing engineering tradeoffs
  • Background as a software engineer or in a closely related technical position
  • Comfort operating independently or launching initiatives without a large team
  • Excellent communication skills with both developers and senior leaders
  • Established participation in developer communities through a following, conference presentations, open source work, or a technical blog
  • Hands-on experience with model training, data processing, or generative media is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot is a strong advantage
  • Experience with open source AI/ML frameworks including MLflow, DVC, Ray Data, WebDataset, and MosaicML Streaming is a strong advantage
  • Previous startup experience or work leading developer programs is a strong advantage
