Onsite Medical Front Desk Receptionist – Float, Suffolk County NY
Provide front-desk support across NYCBS cancer-care offices in Suffolk County. Handle patient reception, scheduling, records, payments, and day-to-day office operations as a float.

- Complete daily office opening and closing procedures
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming, professional approach
- Support patient comfort and keep the reception area organized
- Answer calls, address inquiries, resolve concerns, and schedule appointments
- Collect patient co-pays and reconcile office finances each day
- Help patients complete required forms and documentation
- Create and maintain patient records in the practice EMR system
- Develop and oversee physician schedules in line with established scheduling guidelines
- Distribute quality-assurance surveys and prevention screenings each day
- Monitor and respond to Care Team inbox messages in coordination with a nurse
- Review daily visit lists to confirm required appointments are scheduled
- Safeguard patient information in accordance with HIPAA confidentiality requirements
- Provide coverage for other related daily responsibilities as needed
- Support ongoing office operations by following established policies and procedures
- Complete assigned special projects
Талаптар
- High school diploma and at least two years of patient-facing reception experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow direction and contribute effectively within a team
- Strong customer service capabilities
- At least one year of EMR experience preferred
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills preferred
- Availability to float among the Riverhead, East Moriches, Wading River, Rocky Point, Mt. Sinai, and Port Jefferson NYH offices
