Solutions Architect, Quality and Improvements at Bidgely (Remote)

Lead solution architecture, quality, and technical readiness for Bidgely’s AI-powered utility implementations. Guide complex enterprise energy deployments from requirements through launch.

Description

  • Lead end-to-end solution design and development for utility customers, covering requirements, customer journeys, data integration, machine learning applications, architecture, implementation, and customer-facing technical issue resolution.
  • Act as a cross-functional subject matter expert, using product knowledge and gap analysis to align utility requirements with product capabilities and define required customizations.
  • Provide in-depth technical guidance to Technical Program Managers and Delivery Managers throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to launch.
  • Direct selected customer engagements through established Customer Onboarding processes and tools.
  • Define and manage the technical gate process used by Technical Program Managers for each project.
  • Assess new product performance, test cases, project plans, and risk mitigation from contract signing through launch.
  • Coordinate communication between Product Management and implementation teams about issues and risks that could affect new product launches.
  • Develop and maintain continuous-improvement frameworks for technical implementations and product solutions.
  • Lead feedback and collaboration sessions with fellow Solution Architects to strengthen implementation quality and support Technical Program Manager training.
  • Train and mentor Technical Program Managers and other Customer Onboarding staff in technical methods and product capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Senior Technical Program Managers, global Delivery, and Product Development to deliver technically sound implementations on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
  • Three to six years of demonstrated experience developing and leading solution architecture for cloud-based B2B implementations.
  • Strong record of designing, implementing, and deploying successful system architectures in customer-facing roles with large enterprise clients.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with diverse business and IT stakeholders across global time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical matters to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solution-oriented approach to communication and conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Commitment to staying current with emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies and communicating relevant knowledge to decision-makers.
  • Pre-sales experience, including preparing technical proposal content and shortlist presentations.
  • Working knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, and REST services.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the utility industry.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
