Core Banking Systems Engineer
Operate and improve Swisscom’s core banking and banking applications. Support integrations, incident resolution, releases, and technical projects.
Description
- Run, develop, and optimize a business domain, including its interfaces and connected systems.
- Maintain stable and secure systems.
- Monitor and improve application performance across the landscape.
- Investigate and resolve incidents.
- Deliver changes, releases, and technical improvements.
- Define technical and business requirements and guide them through production implementation.
- Work with customers, internal business teams, suppliers, and development partners.
- Advise on architecture and integration matters.
- Continuously improve the system landscape.
Requirements
- Completed education or training in computer science, business information systems, or a comparable field.
- Experience as a systems engineer, application engineer, application manager, or in a similar technical role.
- Knowledge of operating and supporting business or banking applications.
- Experience with banking platforms such as Finnova or comparable core banking systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of interfaces, system integration, and complex application environments.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-focused approach to work.
- Strong customer and service focus.
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary teams.
- Fluent written and spoken German.
