Services Administrator – Tronc Administration (Hybrid, St Albans)

Administer hospitality tips, service charges, and gratuity distributions for UK venues. Manage client data, records, budgets, and payroll-related processes for WMT Troncmaster Services.

Description

  • Calculate and distribute tips, service charges, and other gratuities for employees at UK hospitality venues.
  • Review and analyse client-supplied data to support accurate, timely award distributions.
  • Manage spreadsheets and substantial datasets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Oversee tronc-related budgets after completing the required training.
  • Handle client enquiries and communicate professionally with businesses.
  • Develop effective working relationships across an allocated client portfolio.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and internal business systems.
  • Keep precise digital records within a paperless filing environment.
  • Index, organise, and store client documentation accurately.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, IF formulas, and PivotTables.
  • Strong numerical skills and confidence handling data.
  • Experience in payroll, finance administration, data processing, hospitality administration, or another process-led role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective time management, with the ability to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities.
  • Customer-oriented approach with clear, professional communication skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures while identifying and challenging inaccurate information.
  • Calm, structured, and methodical working style.
  • Enthusiasm for learning specialist tronc procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Payroll experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Applicants may complete an assessment involving numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, and logic.
