Description
- Build scalable, resilient system update software for the SkylarOne hybrid cloud monitoring platform
- Lead platform modernization efforts, including operating system migrations and technology stack upgrades
- Diagnose complex issues across distributed systems
- Determine root causes and implement effective fixes
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability through metrics analysis and proven practices
- Work within Agile Scrum teams to continuously improve system operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience with AI-driven software development practices
- At least five years of systems engineering experience
- Advanced Linux administration and system and network troubleshooting skills
- Experience automating processes and managing RPM packages with tools such as dnf and yum
- Strong Python and Bash scripting abilities
- Golang experience is preferred but not required
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Knowledge of networking protocols, security practices, and monitoring tools
- Ability to shift priorities and context in response to business needs
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and an interest in innovation
- Effective collaborator with strong teamwork skills
