Senior Product Data Analyst - Latin America (Remote)

Lead product analytics for CookUnity’s chef-powered meal marketplace, covering discovery, conversion, retention, and experimentation. Build reliable metrics, dashboards, and insights that improve customer and marketplace performance.

Description

  • Work with Product, Design, Engineering, and User Research teams as a trusted analytics partner.
  • Analyze how customers discover chefs, meals, cuisines, dietary choices, and price points, including assortment, variety, personalization, and ordering behavior.
  • Trace the customer journey from acquisition to first purchase, repeat orders, and long-term retention to uncover friction and meaningful segments.
  • Set and assess hypotheses, metrics, guardrails, sample sizes, and holdouts for product initiatives and interventions.
  • Assess variation in product effects and uncertainty, then advise whether initiatives should launch, change, or stop.
  • Apply suitable observational techniques when randomized experiments are not feasible, clearly communicating their limitations.
  • Measure product changes through order frequency, churn, customer revenue, discounts, chef engagement, and unit economics.
  • Investigate obstacles across subscription, delivery-information, account-management, and customer-support experiences.
  • Define and maintain product metrics, cohorts, event tracking, and dashboards while checking instrumentation and behavioral data quality.
  • Develop dashboards that help product teams investigate results, spot trends, and track outcomes after launch.
  • Focus on high-impact unknowns, plan analyses and experiments, share findings clearly, and collaborate with fellow analysts on quality.

Requirements

  • Bring roughly 5–7 years of experience in product analytics or a comparable analytical discipline, including ownership of complex work and influence on product decisions; equivalent experience and demonstrated impact are also relevant.
  • Use AI tools effectively for analysis, coding, research synthesis, documentation, and repeatable workflows, while validating outputs and protecting company and customer data.
  • Demonstrate strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex behavioral datasets, including data validation and clear, reusable analysis.
  • Understand product metrics, funnel and cohort analysis, segmentation, and marketplace or subscription business dynamics.
  • Have experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, including holdouts, guardrails, uncertainty, and tradeoffs, with sound judgment about causal conclusions.
  • Turn ambiguous product questions into focused learning plans, work independently, and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Communicate data-driven stories clearly and partner constructively with Product, Design, Engineering, User Research, and business stakeholders.
  • Build effective, intuitive dashboards in any analytics tool that address important product questions and support reliable self-service analysis.
  • Evaluate AI-enabled product experiences using success metrics, experiments, user feedback, and quality and safety assessments.
  • Show curiosity about food, chefs, customer behavior, and the operational realities of a local marketplace.
