Description

  • Join Capital One’s Premium Design – Rewards team within Experience Design
  • Co-create solutions to complex product and customer problems
  • Guide product strategy and strengthen a high-performing design culture
  • Apply interaction, visual, and service design expertise to advance the practice
  • Help optimize design tools, platforms, frameworks, and systems with cross-functional partners
  • Create vision stories, journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes
  • Lead, mentor, and advise designers to advance design capability and culture
  • Influence product direction through content design, user insights, and business understanding
  • Build alignment among product, technology, and business stakeholders
  • Champion human-centered methods grounded in data, research, and design expertise
  • Manage the design portfolio using product, process, customer, competitive, and market insights
  • Own problem-solving methods while balancing competing priorities and interests
  • Partner across the organization to support workstreams and deliver outcomes
  • Present work to audiences across functions and levels, combining frameworks, data, and research insights

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product design
  • 6+ years of experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience in product design
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma
  • Experience contributing to and working with an established design system
  • Experience partnering with product, technology, and business leaders
  • Experience leading design projects or teams
  • Experience designing for heavily regulated, data-intensive problem spaces
  • A strong portfolio showing leadership, process, results, and impact
