Description

  • Uphold Integer’s values and comply with all safety, environmental, security, quality, regulatory, and operational requirements
  • Manage projects from initiation through closure in accordance with the department’s project management framework
  • Confirm that project requirements and deliverables are fulfilled
  • Build, maintain, and monitor project plans and completion work
  • Facilitate project meetings and deliver regular status updates
  • Carry out project communication strategies
  • Address issues proactively and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Deliver projects against approved business cases, expected benefits, schedules, budgets, and success measures
  • Create and apply a consistent, repeatable project management framework
  • Set project tollgates, deliverables, communication plans, risk and issue controls, and escalation procedures
  • Oversee tollgate reviews for deliverable completion and readiness
  • Build and sustain PMO processes and reporting for enterprise project delivery
  • Develop Demand Management, Resource Planning, Project Manager Scorecards, and Project Returns processes when required
  • Analyze IT project performance and communicate results to business and executive leaders
  • Define, monitor, and report on KPIs and other performance metrics
  • Complete project planning in accordance with business priorities
  • Coordinate annual project roadmaps with business needs and refresh progress during the year
  • Administer PMO processes and tools to support consistent methods and reporting
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, business information systems, or a related discipline is required
  • A master’s degree is preferred
  • PMI certification is preferred
  • Seven to ten years of information technology experience
  • Two to three years in direct supervision of IT associates or an IT project management role
  • Project management certification from an accredited institution is required, such as PMI certification
  • Expertise with project management platforms including MS Project and MS Project Server
  • Knowledge of networking, applications, databases, and voice and data communications
  • Working knowledge of ITSM frameworks
  • Working knowledge of business functions such as sales, finance, operations, and purchasing
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project
  • Strong management and leadership capabilities
  • Effective investment and financial management skills
  • Business consulting ability, including collaboration with and influence over key business leaders
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts in business terms
  • Understanding of technology’s organizational impact and its connection to redesigned business processes
  • Extensive knowledge of large-scale global project implementations
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations
  • Capabilities in team building, conflict resolution, and negotiation
  • Knowledge of SDLC or ERP implementation methodologies
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Ability to manage key performance indicators and performance against agreed service levels
