Senior IT Program Manager, Clinical Applications and AI (Remote)

Lead Advocate Health’s Epic Factory AI Program and clinical application strategy as a senior technical program manager. Drive complex healthcare technology initiatives, workflow design, and organizational change across IT and clinical teams.

Description

  • Develop and oversee the Epic Factory AI Program
  • Lead cross-application strategic initiatives for Clinical Applications Strategic Projects and AI
  • Partner with IT leaders and business units to define business cases and technology requirements
  • Support business relationship management, strategic planning, and portfolio and demand management
  • Build effective working relationships across IT and business functions
  • Communicate business value and strategy while coordinating IT teams to improve operational performance
  • Research industry practices and relevant performance metrics
  • Coordinate project activities, monitor delivery, and provide technical direction to project teams
  • Evaluate portfolio initiatives and define measurable outcomes
  • Establish processes and tools for tracking project benefits
  • Coach IT staff on workflows and functionality for new and enhanced systems and processes
  • Contribute to analyst technical development and performance review objectives
  • Document business processes and system and workflow dependencies
  • Support risk mitigation, communications, implementation planning, work planning, and scope management

Requirements

  • Epic EHR certification with extensive hands-on experience across core applications
  • Certification in an Epic clinical application, such as Ambulatory, Orders, or ClinDoc
  • Professional experience working with Epic clinical applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field
  • Typically seven years of progressively responsible information systems experience, including technical or project management work
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, healthcare standards, and end-to-end workflow design
  • Experience directing complex, high-visibility projects from initial concept through delivery
  • Demonstrated success delivering strategic initiatives, including emerging and AI-enabled healthcare solutions
  • Expertise in change management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop functional requirements, risk assessments, cost estimates, plans, and delivery tracking
  • Ability to produce clear presentations and project documentation
  • Ability to resolve unusual, complex, and ambiguous problems through sound judgment and creativity
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and mentor team members
  • Ability to influence and direct work teams while managing competing priorities
  • Must reside in one of the listed eligible states
  • Visa sponsorship or transfer is not available
