Remote Mental Health Therapist - Georgia | CVS Health

Description

  • Provide psychosocial support and education to individuals, couples, and families aged 13 and older
  • Practice within the full scope of your license with clinical care team support
  • Help build and expand the MinuteClinic practice
  • Deliver evidence-based mental health services
  • Perform diagnostic assessments, coordinate care, develop treatment plans, and provide short-term counseling
  • Apply motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Promote continuity of care through assessment and treatment-planning tools
  • Provide virtual therapy and engage patients across multiple platforms
  • Deliver crisis intervention and coordinate with patients and care teams

Requirements

  • Hold a Georgia license as an LCSW, LPC, LMHC, or LMFT
  • Maintain a current, active, unrestricted license as an LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCMHC
  • Obtain additional state licenses as required by business needs
  • Demonstrate strong diagnostic, care coordination, treatment-planning, and short-term counseling abilities
  • Have experience using evidence-based approaches such as motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Show excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • Have experience delivering virtual therapy or be willing to learn and adapt to it
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the psychosocial dimensions of illness and health
  • Be comfortable with technology, electronic health records, and engagement across multiple platforms
  • Understand insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements
  • Demonstrate strong crisis intervention capabilities
  • Have prior experience in a mental health clinic or hospital
  • Hold a completed master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Be licensed in Georgia as an LCSW, LPC, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or LMFT
