Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Data & AI — Canada Remote

Warner Music Group is hiring a senior forward deployed engineer to create full-stack data and AI solutions for music-label stakeholders. The role focuses on workflow automation with Python, Snowflake, Databricks, and Streamlit.

Description

  • Collaborate with Product Solutions and business stakeholders throughout Warner Music Group
  • Rapidly create and deploy automation, data, and AI-powered solutions
  • Convert processes that take weeks into workflows completed in minutes
  • Work directly with stakeholders across labels and global functions
  • Build full-stack solutions spanning data pipelines and system interoperability
  • Develop backend applications in Python
  • Create dashboards and Streamlit applications
  • Use Databricks and Snowflake AI capabilities, including Genie and Cortex
  • Apply AI tools to design, build, and deploy production-ready solutions
  • Define system frameworks, operational playbooks, and technical standards
  • Add reusable modular assets to the internal marketplace
  • Keep solutions aligned with the Data and Insights engineering roadmap
  • Set stakeholder expectations and provide clear customer updates

Requirements

  • Six or more years of software engineering experience
  • Professional experience working with customers
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience building data pipelines, including ETL workflows
  • Experience with Snowflake or Databricks; experience with either platform is sufficient
  • Ideally, familiarity with Genie Code or Cortex Code, Notebooks, and Streamlit
  • Ability to use AI tools to design, build, and deploy production solutions
  • Ability to contribute across backend, frontend, data pipelines, and AI tooling
  • Ability to quickly understand problem spaces and develop solutions without curated requirements
  • Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders from entry level through executive leadership
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Gemini, Cortex Code, and Genie Code
  • Experience establishing system frameworks such as the Agent Development Kit (ADK)
  • Experience writing operational playbooks and technical guidelines
  • Experience with modular architectures and reusable internal marketplace assets
  • Eagerness to learn and receptiveness to feedback
  • Interest in music and motivation to support artists’ careers and compensation
