Senior Cloud Engineer (Remote - Romania)

Description

  • Own cloud platforms, services, DevOps pipelines, AI model deployment workflows, development pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code scripts that provision cloud resources through pipelines and automate application installation
  • Improve deployment processes and methods for delivering products across all environments
  • Develop Docker containerization pipelines for NVIDIA NeMo and NIM models and services
  • Implement containerized application deployment and orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Configure end-to-end CI/CD with AWS and Azure DevOps components, including web apps, function apps, logic apps, and APIM
  • Develop feedback loops that transfer data from client endpoints to the WNS optimization hub
  • Integrate the platform with JUnit, JMeter, Jira, Jenkins, and related development tools
  • Create and replicate sandbox cloud virtual machines for users building AI and Agentic AI applications
  • Scale product deployments with authentication, authorization, session management, REST APIs, and application code serving more than 10,000 users
  • Manage AI model versioning and SVN/Git repository configuration
  • Work with AI Software Engineering, Product Management, and Product teams to improve platform implementation, operations, and maintenance
  • Deliver automation, monitoring, logging, alerting, and deployment capabilities
  • Verify that cloud solutions comply with internal security and compliance standards
  • Manage container and code security for products deployed in client environments
  • Promote cloud-native practices and make effective use of cloud platform capabilities

Requirements

  • Several years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer
  • Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with container development, Kubernetes, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipeline development
  • Broad and deep understanding of IT and public cloud technologies, including networking, infrastructure, security, storage, and operating systems
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools for cloud environments
  • Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux server operating systems
  • Strong Python and PowerShell or Bash scripting skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline
  • At least 7 years of experience in DevOps and cloud engineering
  • Experience with GitHub, Jira, CI/CD pipeline development, deployment automation, and Kubernetes and Docker containerization
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities
