Swish Analytics
Swish Analytics
Swish Analytics develops machine-learning software and predictive data for the sports betting industry. Its B2B platform helps sportsbooks and fantasy platforms generate real-time odds across player props, team and match markets, pre-game forecasts, in-play events, parlays, bet builders, and micro-markets. The company also supports automated bet-lifecycle management, combining pricing models and scalable odds infrastructure to streamline how betting products are created and managed.

  • Find and resolve performance and scaling constraints across applications, databases, and service dependencies, using production measurements to guide improvements.
  • Build services for real-time, distributed data and coordinate with upstream teams on dependencies and failure scenarios.
  • Develop and review architecture proposals, recording key tradeoffs and communicating them to technical and nontechnical partners.
  • Review code and offer actionable feedback to strengthen coding standards, testing, and maintainability.
  • Enhance monitoring and automation to help engineers spot issues, investigate incidents, and run services effectively.
  • Help improve shared tools, Kubernetes workload efficiency, and cloud usage alongside the teams that own those systems.

  • Strong knowledge of high-traffic APIs, distributed services, and the networking and dependencies that influence their behavior.
  • Experience making engineering decisions that improve reliability, availability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Able to define ambiguous technical problems independently, weigh tradeoffs, coordinate dependencies, and carry implementation through production rollout.
  • Strong communication with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Preferred: production experience with Kafka or a comparable stream-processing system.
  • Preferred: production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
