Description

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with clients
  • Review RFPs, requirements, and user stories to identify gaps, inconsistencies, risks, and assumptions
  • Translate functional and business requirements into viable technical architectures and solutions
  • Define scope, architecture, cloud infrastructure, team composition, and effort estimates
  • Prepare and validate quotes and technical proposals
  • Document environments, deployment strategies, acceptance criteria, test plans, and other technical components
  • Assess existing codebases, platforms, and architectures to define modernization, migration, or evolution strategies
  • Design solutions using cloud services, serverless architectures, containers, APIs, event-driven systems, and AI services
  • Design and validate generative AI solutions, including RAG, agents, MCP, evaluations, and guardrails
  • Build or oversee demos and proof-of-concepts
  • Serve as a technical authority during presales activities and client meetings
  • Explain technical concepts and architectures to technical and executive audiences
  • Complete the technical handoff to delivery teams
  • Provide technical direction and resolve architecture questions during implementation
  • Review technical decisions on active projects and collaborate with Project Managers
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges and incidents
  • Propose engineering practices, standards, and guidelines to strengthen the organization
  • Bridge sales and delivery for software projects from a technical perspective
  • Report directly to the VP of Engineering and work alongside another Senior Tech Lead

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional software development experience
  • At least 2 years leading technical teams, handling presales, solution architecture, or project estimates
  • Direct client experience across discovery, solution definition, and proposal presentations
  • Experience estimating software projects and sizing multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to take full ownership of discoveries, proposals, demos, and technical decisions
  • Advanced applied generative AI experience, including RAG, AI agents, MCP, solution evaluation, and guardrails
  • Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, particularly Next.js and NestJS, and/or Python with FastAPI
  • Advanced proficiency with Claude Code
  • Advanced proficiency with Lovable
  • Senior-level architecture experience on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with serverless architectures, containers, data, and cloud-based AI services
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform, AWS CDK, or equivalent technologies
  • Advanced relational and NoSQL database design and modeling skills
  • Experience with schema migrations and versioning
  • Advanced REST API, GraphQL, and webhook design experience
  • Experience designing event-driven architectures with queues, asynchronous processing, and workflow orchestration
  • Experience documenting architectures with C4 or an equivalent, ADRs, and technical specifications
  • Cloud security and identity knowledge covering IAM, least privilege, SSO/OIDC, encryption, key management, and protection of exposed applications
  • Experience with CI/CD, static quality analysis, container deployment, and production troubleshooting
  • Strong experience with technical estimation and architecture definition for new projects
  • Current Associate-, Professional-, or equivalent-level solution architecture certification for the candidate’s primary cloud
  • Knowledge of traditional machine learning, modeling, and MLOps
  • Experience with managed machine learning platforms
  • At least 2 years of technical presales or Solutions Architect experience
  • Mobile application development experience
  • Experience integrating payment gateways, KYC, business messaging APIs, and productivity suites
