Remote Interior Designer – Short-Term Rentals

Design high-end short-term rental properties remotely for a U.S.-based firm. Develop complete interior design packages and turn virtual concepts into finished spaces.

Description

  • Develop and deliver whole-property interior design concepts for high-end short-term rentals and vacation homes.
  • Produce spatial plans, 2D and 3D renderings, mood boards, color schemes, and curated FF&E packages.
  • Adapt concept boards for practical installation by balancing durability, guest experience, scale, and budget.
  • Source stylish commercial-grade furnishings and decor suited to high-occupancy use and streamlined shipping and assembly.
  • Coordinate with the U.S. creative team during Mountain Standard Time working hours.
  • Track project schedules, apply feedback, and submit dependable, high-quality design packages on time.
  • Lead the design of residential spaces from initial concept through completion for short-term rental investments.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience designing interiors for Airbnb, VRBO, boutique hotels, or other short-term rental properties.
  • A portfolio featuring at least one complete property designed from concept through completion.
  • High-quality photographs of completed real-world spaces, beyond digital renderings, sketches, or 3D models.
  • Ability to present design boards together with photographs of the corresponding finished spaces.
  • Proficiency with professional design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Studio Designer, or comparable procurement tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken professional English.
  • Availability to work with full overlap during U.S. Mountain Standard Time business hours.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a highly creative approach.
  • Availability for full-time work.
