Remote Auto Claims Adjuster – Texas | Allstate

Allstate is hiring a Texas-based remote Auto Claims Adjuster to inspect vehicle damage, prepare estimates, investigate claims, negotiate settlements, and manage total-loss cases from a home office.

Description

  • Perform remote vehicle inspections using photos and live video
  • Assess claims and document vehicle damage
  • Prepare repair estimates and supplemental estimates
  • Manage total-loss claims across a broad range of vehicles
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, claimants, and other stakeholders
  • Investigate auto claims and interpret policy language to determine coverage
  • Assess and negotiate claim settlements
  • Apply estimating software, job aids, and settlement platforms
  • Maintain complete and accurate claim records in the claims system
  • Apply policy terms accurately to help protect Allstate’s financial interests
  • Use customers’ preferred communication channels and provide ongoing claim updates
  • Complete approximately eight weeks of onboarding, licensing, and role-specific training, including two weeks at the Dallas, Texas office

Requirements

  • At least 18 months of auto-collision estimating experience using CCC or Mitchell
  • Proven ability to develop detailed estimates covering paint, body, frame restoration, and mechanical work
  • Experience with virtual inspection tools and standard computer applications
  • Strong analytical ability to evaluate damage and produce accurate estimates
  • Clear, effective communication with customers and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a virtual setting
  • Working knowledge of auto-claims insurance policies and applicable industry regulations
  • Availability for required virtual and in-person training
  • Active participation in virtual coursework and successful completion of the training program
  • Obtain all required adjuster and/or appraiser licenses within 60 days of hire, where applicable
  • Maintain required licenses, continuing education, and state renewal obligations
  • Consent to a background investigation
  • Dedicated private workspace without distractions
  • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
  • Suitable work surface and seating
  • Home office located in the United States; this role is unavailable to residents of Washington, California, Alaska, and Hawaii. Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position.
