Principal Financial Services Cloud Architect – United States Remote
Lead Salesforce Financial Services Cloud transformations for banking, insurance, lending, and wealth management clients. Advise executives and design scalable, compliant cloud architectures.
Description
- Own end-to-end architecture for Financial Services Cloud implementations and broader digital transformation programs.
- Advise executive leaders, business sponsors, operations stakeholders, and technology teams on strategic solutions.
- Run discovery workshops to assess business goals, customer journeys, operational needs, compliance obligations, and future-state requirements.
- Create scalable solution designs, architecture diagrams, data models, and delivery roadmaps.
- Design solutions for client onboarding, household management, financial accounts, referrals, relationship management, service operations, sales, and client engagement.
- Establish enterprise data architectures, governance models, security designs, compliance controls, and integration approaches.
- Ensure proposed solutions meet privacy, security, auditability, and data-retention standards.
- Lead migration planning from legacy CRM, banking, insurance, wealth management, and servicing platforms.
- Oversee architecture through design reviews, configuration guidance, test planning, deployment preparation, and post-launch optimization.
- Partner with technical architects, developers, business analysts, and project managers throughout delivery.
- Advance the use of Financial Services Cloud, Flow, OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Contribute to pre-sales through estimation, proposal preparation, architecture reviews, executive presentations, and pursuit planning.
- Coach consultants and solution engineers while reinforcing architecture standards and delivery practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, finance, or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of experience with the Salesforce platform.
- At least three years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Consultant, or comparable leadership position.
- Advanced knowledge of Financial Services Cloud and financial services business processes.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Services Cloud data structures, including households, relationships, financial accounts, referrals, goals, interactions, and customer lifecycle management.
- Background designing enterprise Salesforce solutions spanning multiple clouds, integrations, and complex data migrations.
- Experience supporting banking, insurance, lending, wealth management, capital markets, or other financial services organizations.
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements in financial services environments.
- Demonstrated ability to create enterprise data models, security architectures, and integration frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce capabilities including Financial Services Cloud, Flow, OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and consulting abilities.
- Ability to turn complex business needs into scalable technical solutions and strategic roadmaps.
- Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional credential or equivalent Financial Services Cloud qualification preferred.
- Salesforce Application Architect certification preferred.
- Salesforce System Architect certification preferred.
- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification preferred.
- Experience with core banking, policy administration, wealth management, loan origination, or related financial services systems preferred.
- Experience leading enterprise data migration and modernization programs preferred.
- Experience with pre-sales, solution estimation, and executive presentations preferred.
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery and large-scale program execution preferred.
