Onsite Maintenance Technician in Arlington, Texas

Maintain facilities, grounds, amenities, and community infrastructure for CCMC’s master-planned community in Arlington, Texas. The role includes repairs, cleaning, event setup, and supporting resident safety.

Description

  • Keep facilities and buildings clean and presentable
  • Remove and dispose of garbage and other waste
  • Set up and dismantle rooms and event spaces
  • Handle maintenance duties ranging from routine repairs to more complex work
  • Inspect lighting, clean light lenses, and replace bulbs and ballasts
  • Repair and maintain doors and locks
  • Complete caulking, surface preparation, and painting tasks
  • Carry out minor carpentry repairs
  • Maintain plumbing systems and repair or replace faucets and fixtures
  • Service limited-access gates, storage areas, doors, and locks
  • Clean the areas surrounding pools, dumpsters, and shared community spaces
  • Empty trash and dog-waste receptacles and dispose of their contents
  • Identify maintenance issues across the property and resolve them
  • Assist the Lifestyle Director outside regular hours and provide occasional on-call coverage
  • Help preserve the community and promote a safe environment for residents

Requirements

  • Related maintenance experience is preferred
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance work is preferred
  • Background in general property maintenance
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Self-directed, observant, and attentive to detail
  • Able to identify property maintenance issues and address concerns
  • Able to communicate clearly with managers, residents, and coworkers in speech and writing
  • Able to follow instructions and assigned schedules
  • Reliable, solutions-focused, and professional in appearance
  • Friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Must successfully complete a background check, physical examination, and drug screening
  • Must hold a valid driver's license in the state of employment
  • Must have access to a personal vehicle
  • Able to assist the Lifestyle Director outside regular business hours
  • Available for occasional on-call work
  • Able to walk extended distances across the grounds in varying weather conditions
  • Able to occasionally lift and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events
  • Able to use computers and mobile devices with manual dexterity
  • Able to operate a vehicle
  • Must maintain a clean motor vehicle record and current automobile insurance at statutory limits when driving is required
