  • Own integrations with external business-context systems such as Jira, observability platforms, Zendesk, and ServiceNow.
  • Shape the Data Marketplace to let customers access GitLab data through Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery without requiring engineering support.
  • Expose GitLab observability through OpenTelemetry and develop APIs for brokered data sharing.
  • Establish operational-readiness standards for releases across GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed.
  • Turn an ambiguous 0-to-1 domain into practical, iterative roadmaps with Product, Design, and the graph backend team.
  • Coordinate and resolve dependencies spanning the graph backend, AI Platform, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Support senior and intermediate engineers through design reviews, pairing, and code reviews.
  • Find systemic constraints, streamline processes, and create systems that increase delivery velocity.

  • High ownership and initiative: identify the right owner, clarify the approach, make decisions, and drive work through completion.
  • Ability to elevate both colleagues and the surrounding codebase as a force multiplier.
  • Advanced full-stack capability with strong Go, Ruby, and Node.js proficiency.
