Frontend Developer (React, Next.js, TypeScript) — Remote in Brazil
Build responsive web interfaces for Finnet applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Integrate APIs and develop reusable components that follow the design system.
Description
- Develop and improve screens and workflows for web applications
- Turn product and design requirements into working user interfaces
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces from design prototypes
- Develop and refine reusable components that follow the design system
- Connect interfaces to backend services and manage loading, error, empty, and permission states
- Refine user stories with product and design teams, assessing feasibility, costs, and UX alternatives
- Own low- to medium-complexity tasks from implementation through completion
- Test workflows before release, reduce regressions, and protect the user experience
- Help the senior developer deliver the squad’s priorities
- Monitor production behavior and assist with investigating user-reported issues
Requirements
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Professional experience developing and maintaining React and Next.js applications
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, including typing, componentization, and code organization
- Hands-on experience building interfaces with Tailwind CSS
- Experience using a design system or component library
- Ability to extend, propose, and use components within established standards
- Experience designing scalable component architectures
- Experience consuming REST APIs, including response states, errors, and authentication
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Comfort with Git-based collaboration, including branches, pull requests, and code reviews
- Knowledge of frontend performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
- Experience working in agile teams
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
- Proactive approach to identifying technical and product improvements
- Responsible, discerning use of AI tools while retaining accountability for generated code
