Territory Manager - Murray and Mallee, Australia (Remote)

Lead territory growth for Halter’s virtual-fencing business among beef farmers in North Western Victoria. Manage sales, onboarding, customer success, and local market feedback.

Description

  • Grow revenue and customer success across the assigned territory
  • Deliver sales plans and achieve growth targets
  • Represent Halter as the local field contact
  • Generate leads through outreach, referrals, industry events, inbound enquiries, and other channels
  • Manage the complete sales process from prospecting to contract close
  • Assess prospects, qualify opportunities, demonstrate the product, and negotiate agreements
  • Develop strong customer relationships after purchase
  • Support customers and resolve product-related issues
  • Coordinate a seamless transition from sales to onboarding and deployment
  • Own the customer experience throughout onboarding and deployment
  • Develop partnerships with regional agricultural organisations in the beef sector
  • Collect customer feedback and relay field insights to Support, Product, and R&D
  • Work with the Support Team to escalate and resolve customer issues

Requirements

  • Demonstrated value-based sales experience, including opportunity creation, deal closing, and long-term relationship development
  • Experience increasing customer value after the sale and expanding partnerships through upselling
  • Background in the beef industry, or strong interest in farm operations with the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to manage a broad territory, apply sound judgement, and balance sales with customer success
  • Practical, resourceful approach to solving problems under pressure
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the territory
  • Ability to work in North Western Victoria
  • Legal authorisation to work in the relevant country
