Director of Brand Marketing at Nutrafol (Remote, United States)

Lead brand strategy and product launches for Nutrafol’s clinically tested hair wellness portfolio. Shape consumer insight, innovation, campaigns, pricing, and go-to-market across DTC, Amazon, and Pro channels.

Description

  • Develop and launch brand stories for new product innovations
  • Own brand strategy, positioning, narrative, consumer understanding, research, naming, and innovation insights
  • Bring consumer and brand perspectives to product pipeline, proposition, format, range, claims, and sequencing decisions
  • Manage approved claims expression and safeguard brand credibility across consumer touchpoints
  • Create launch plans across DTC, Amazon, and Pro in partnership with Growth, Marketplaces, CX, and Pro Marketing
  • Drive launch readiness and monitor in-market performance against product availability dates
  • Set innovation pricing above the annual margin floor established with Finance
  • Lead annual and quarterly brand plans, campaign and content concepts, and social narratives
  • Define brand direction for partnerships, collaborations, and external voices
  • Manage the brand marketing budget for new product innovation
  • Coordinate cross-company teams around a shared plan and clear decision ownership
  • Provide consumer, positioning, and go-to-market updates to Unilever and Nutrafol leadership
  • Identify risks and dependencies early
  • Evaluate post-launch performance and apply findings to future innovation
  • Build trusted relationships across cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bring 8–12 years of experience in brand management, brand marketing, or innovation marketing at a high-growth company; hair care, beauty, or science-led consumer health experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated DTC experience
  • Experience bringing products from concept to market with R&D, regulatory, and supply chain partners
  • Proven ability to develop integrated brand strategies and launch campaigns across digital, social, CRM, retail media, and direct response
  • Strong commercial and go-to-market judgment across DTC, e-commerce, and omnichannel environments, including pricing
  • Ability to operate between an entrepreneurial brand and a large matrixed organization while aligning partners without formal authority
  • Fluency in segmentation and quantitative and qualitative consumer research
  • Sound judgment around claims, positioning, and premium brand experiences
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and willing to work hands-on
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Low-ego, high-ownership approach with the ability to energize a distributed team
