DevOps Engineer (Hybrid, Athens)

DevOps Engineer responsible for Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and DevSecOps delivery at Uni Systems. This hybrid Athens role combines automation, customer enablement, and reliable application and infrastructure operations.

Description

  • Partner with customer and internal development teams through a collaborative DevOps operating model
  • Champion DevSecOps and agile practices that support frequent delivery of business value
  • Share knowledge and reinforce adherence to IT policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Manage and deliver applications, services, and the infrastructure that supports them
  • Automate the installation of complex systems
  • Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code with tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines and Jenkins
  • Advise customers and help them implement CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
  • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation

Requirements

  • University or college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong written and spoken Greek and English communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for adopting emerging technologies and automating operational processes
  • Experience implementing Azure cloud workloads, including deployment, configuration, networking, virtual machines, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Application Services, and RBAC
  • Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
  • Practical experience with version control and container platforms including Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and AKS
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and experience setting up or administering a database is useful
  • Ability to script with PowerShell, Bash, or Python, or develop with Java or .NET
  • Experience designing and configuring monitoring systems for performance and capacity usage
  • Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift expertise is advantageous
