Operations Coordinator - Greenbushes, Talison Lithium
Coordinate safe production, shutdowns, and crushing operations at Talison Lithium’s Greenbushes site. Lead processing plant teams and help deliver production targets.
Description
- Report to the Operational Superintendent
- Lead all teams with a safe, coordinated, and supportive approach
- Deliver and improve production performance against targets
- Collaborate with support teams across multiple crushing and processing plants
- Promote and maintain a strong workplace safety culture
- Plan and direct processing plant production activities for shift supervisors according to operational priorities
- Work with Maintenance to identify plant shutdown and maintenance needs
- Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns and start-ups
- Manage equipment isolations required for maintenance and shutdown activities
- Coordinate crushing operations to maintain the required ore feed to processing plants
- Ensure operating standards and procedures are consistently followed
Requirements
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
- Experience in a comparable role or relevant industry experience
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- A current Section 26 qualification under Western Australia’s Work Health and Safety Act 2020, or the ability to obtain one before starting
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management is desirable
