DevOps Engineer, Build and CI/CD – NVIDIA Berlin Onsite

Build and maintain CI/CD automation for NVIDIA’s automotive AI and embedded software. Work across build systems, Docker environments, testing, and release workflows.

Description

  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for embedded software
  • Promote DevOps and software integration practices across the team and wider organization
  • Monitor CI builds and proactively diagnose and resolve build or test failures
  • Create automation tools for build, testing, and release processes
  • Manage and enhance Docker-based containerized build environments
  • Develop new build configurations as project requirements evolve
  • Partner with development teams to deliver effective builds, tools, and infrastructure

Requirements

  • A strong technical foundation, such as a computer science degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least five years of experience in DevOps, build engineering, or release engineering
  • Professional experience on embedded software development projects
  • Practical knowledge of build systems such as Bazel and CMake
  • Hands-on scripting experience with Python, Shell, and Bash
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Gerrit, GitLab, Artifactory, and Docker
  • Strong understanding of Docker and containerization technologies
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line tools
  • Understanding of software engineering and integration practices for embedded development
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and a strong interest in automation
  • Excellent English communication skills, including the ability to explain technical ideas, designs, and recommendations clearly
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale automotive embedded software programs
  • Experience with ADAS projects and frameworks such as ASPICE and ISO 26262
  • Hands-on experience with Bazel and Gerrit
  • Knowledge of systems programming languages such as C++
  • Experience with web technologies including REST APIs and gRPC
