Data Visualization and Reporting Analyst

Build Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and reporting pipelines supporting GDIT’s strategic acquisition operations. Deliver supply chain analytics, KPIs, and data governance solutions.

Description

  • Lead, manage, or contribute to the development of self-service business intelligence tools.
  • Partner with data analysts and supply chain teams to uncover data opportunities.
  • Advance business outcomes, team innovation, and solutions to data challenges.
  • Create interactive Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and automated reports.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion and reporting pipelines based on stakeholder needs.
  • Establish QA/QC pipelines and validation checkpoints for exception reporting.
  • Calculate and communicate supply chain metrics and KPIs through self-service tools.
  • Resolve data challenges with repeatable, scalable solutions aligned to organizational requirements.
  • Assess how data changes may affect systems and business processes.
  • Design and maintain databases and data systems, troubleshooting coding and data issues.
  • Work with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders on process improvements, system changes, and data governance policies.
  • Address stakeholder questions about reports, access, and data inconsistencies.
  • Complete other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of related or business intelligence experience.
  • Technical training, certification, or a degree.
  • Experience structuring and analyzing large datasets for statistical and analytical modeling.
  • Experience using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
  • Experience with DAX modeling.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience developing pipelines and QA/QC frameworks.
  • Experience with database design, semantic modeling, and data governance.
  • Supply chain or procurement analytics experience is highly preferred.
  • U.S. person status is required to access GDIT systems.
