Product Manager, Capitalstream Lending Platform

Lead product strategy and roadmap development for Capitalstream, Linedata’s lending and leasing platform. Turn financial-institution needs into scalable SaaS capabilities through customer research, cross-functional delivery, and market analysis.

Description

  • Drive Capitalstream’s product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization
  • Build customer insight through client engagement, market research, product usage data, and industry trends
  • Convert customer needs and commercial opportunities into product requirements, features, and priorities
  • Maintain and continuously refine the product backlog
  • Analyze competitors and identify ways to reinforce Capitalstream’s market position
  • Support leadership with near- and long-term product planning, forecasting, and business analysis
  • Identify ways to convert custom work, consulting engagements, and value-added processes into scalable product functionality
  • Work with Engineering, Development, and Quality Assurance across the full product development lifecycle
  • Define product and feature requirements while aligning business and technical stakeholders
  • Set direction and priorities for development and QA teams
  • Assess technical challenges and create specifications that address customer and product needs
  • Plan and manage product releases, enhancement packages, and hotfixes
  • Help transition Capitalstream from on-premise deployments to SaaS-based solutions
  • Support contemporary DevOps, CI/CD, build, and deployment practices
  • Champion product quality, usability, scalability, and customer experience
  • Act as a Capitalstream product expert for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Collect customer feedback, confirm priorities, and uncover product improvement opportunities
  • Work with Sales and customer-facing teams on strategic opportunities and the Capitalstream value proposition
  • Deliver product training and enablement for Sales, Implementation Services, Development, QA, and Support
  • Assist Marketing with launches for new product capabilities and offerings
  • Assess partnership, integration, and licensing opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technology, systems, content, and integration partners
  • Work with external partners to deliver complete lending and leasing solutions
  • Contribute to user and administrator documentation for new capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience
  • At least 3 years of product management experience in a technology or software organization
  • At least 5 years working with loan origination, business lending, consumer lending, equipment finance, leasing, or related lending technology solutions
  • Proven ability to gather customer needs and convert them into product strategy, roadmaps, and actionable requirements
  • At least 3 years using Agile methodologies and product development tools such as Jira
  • Experience partnering with Engineering, Development, and Quality Assurance throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of SaaS architecture and modern software delivery models
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD principles, and deployment practices
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and execution capabilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with detailed, hands-on execution
  • Comfort working autonomously in a dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel approximately 5–10% as needed
  • Preferred: MBA or another advanced degree
  • Preferred: Experience helping migrate or transform an on-premise software product into a SaaS offering
  • Preferred: Background in commercial lending, equipment finance, loan origination, or lending workflow platforms
  • Preferred: Experience creating product business cases, forecasts, competitive analyses, and go-to-market strategies
  • Preferred: Direct experience working with financial institutions and senior business and technology stakeholders
