Complex Severe Litigation Adjuster - Florida Remote

Florida-based remote adjuster role handling complex and litigated bodily injury claims for Allstate. Responsibilities include investigating liability, evaluating coverage and damages, and negotiating settlements.

Description

  • Investigate single- and multi-vehicle automobile accidents involving property damage, bodily injury, attorneys, or litigation
  • Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages for assigned claims
  • Deliver customer service throughout the claims process
  • Communicate with customers and attorneys by phone, email, and text
  • Use claims platforms and technology to evaluate losses
  • Negotiate fair injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants
  • Review damage information and interpret policy language to establish coverage
  • Use customers’ preferred communication channels and provide regular claim updates
  • Apply legal and business standards when evaluating and negotiating settlements
  • Manage difficult and complex negotiations
  • Use estimating tools, job aids, and settlement systems
  • Maintain timely, accurate claim records in the claims system
  • Apply policy agreements correctly to protect the company’s financial interests

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience handling represented Florida third-party bodily injury claims
  • Experience managing severe, complex, and litigated bodily injury claims
  • Knowledge of Florida tort reform
  • Active Florida 6-20 All Lines Adjuster License in Property and Casualty
  • Strong communication skills, particularly by phone
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time effectively
  • Working knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability decisions
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with technology and platforms used for claims evaluation
  • A dedicated, private home office free from distractions
  • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
  • Suitable work surface and seating
  • Successful completion of a background investigation
  • Must be located in the United States
  • Active insurance license holders must end existing appointments and cannot maintain outside appointments during employment
  • Resident producer license holders must surrender the license when instructed
  • Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas
