Business Systems Transformation Manager (Hybrid)

Filtronic is seeking a Business Systems Transformation Manager to modernise its manufacturing and enterprise systems. The role leads ERP transformation, integrations, data governance and operational process improvement.

Description

  • Own Filtronic’s business systems roadmap in line with growth plans and operational priorities
  • Lead implementation, optimisation and continuous improvement across core business systems
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Programmes, Finance and Quality to assess processes, requirements, constraints and improvement opportunities
  • Convert business requirements into effective systems and process solutions
  • Configure systems, workflows and reports; test changes and resolve issues
  • Lead system changes from requirements and design through UAT, implementation and adoption
  • Remove avoidable manual work, duplication and system workarounds
  • Strengthen integration and information flow across the business systems landscape
  • Set data governance standards, master-data ownership and system controls
  • Create reporting, dashboards and management information
  • Define system administration, access, permissions and change controls
  • Manage external providers and implementation partners while retaining internal ownership and knowledge
  • Build internal capability through training, documentation and super-user networks
  • Support the evaluation, selection and implementation of future systems and technologies
  • Keep the systems landscape scalable and suitable for future business needs
  • Report to the Chief Operating Officer

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in business systems, ERP, applications or systems transformation
  • A strong record of implementing and improving ERP and wider enterprise systems
  • Practical ERP expertise spanning configuration, workflows, reporting, testing, troubleshooting and implementation
  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or technology setting
  • Strong knowledge of planning, supply chain, procurement, inventory, manufacturing and finance processes
  • Experience integrating ERP platforms with other business and operational systems
  • Strong business analysis, process improvement and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience leading complex systems implementations and several concurrent workstreams
  • Strong understanding of data, reporting, master data and governance
  • Experience managing external consultants and system partners while maintaining internal ownership and accountability
  • Ability to work from detailed systems and process analysis through to Leadership Team engagement
  • A record of embedding systems and process change successfully within an organisation
  • Ability to meet the UK Government’s Security Clearance Vetting Procedure requirements
  • NetSuite experience is advantageous; experience with other leading ERP platforms in manufacturing is also relevant
  • Technical depth combined with strong commercial and operational understanding
  • Able to move between strategic priorities and detailed delivery, investigate issues, understand configuration and data, work with users on solutions and carry changes through implementation
  • Proactive, delivery-focused and willing to challenge established processes
