Accounts Payable Executive – Oracle | São Paulo Onsite

Finance Executive supporting Pacific International Lines’ Oracle GFS implementation and Accounts Payable operations in Brazil. The role covers reconciliations, tax compliance, month-end close, and post-go-live finance support.

Description

  • Lead country-level Oracle GFS rollout activities across Accounts Payable, cost control, Intercompany/ASA reconciliation, rate and tariff maintenance, and open-transaction monitoring
  • Support Oracle AP and GL configuration and functional testing
  • Verify local settings for taxes, invoices, vendors, and cost centers
  • Work with outsourced and offshore teams to resolve Accounts Payable issues
  • Assist with month-end close, AP reconciliations, and vendor aging analysis
  • Track compliance with cost allocation requirements
  • Prepare workflow, SOP, and test-traceability documentation for audit readiness
  • Take part in PB1 and UAT cycles and address identified defects
  • Support post-launch hypercare and system stabilization
  • Train and assist end users throughout and after implementation
  • Handle operational finance and reporting activities in Oracle GFS
  • Complete month-end close procedures, reconciliations, and AP subledger processing
  • Manage tax declarations and compliance with local reporting requirements
  • Keep process records current, assist audits, and improve operational effectiveness
  • Partner with LARO and headquarters Finance teams on performance reporting and process enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounts Payable, cost control, accounting, or a related field
  • At least three years of finance operations experience in Oracle or SAP ERP environments
  • Working knowledge of Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Tax modules
  • Prior accounting, tax, controlling, and external audit experience in shipping and logistics
  • Native Spanish and advanced English proficiency
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis, reconciliations, and data validation
  • Strong ethics, precision, and resilience under pressure
  • Proactive, process-oriented, detail-focused, and able to communicate effectively
  • Open to Brazilian nationals or candidates with current legal authorization to work in Brazil
