Account Manager – South India (Hybrid) | Axis Communications

Manage channel sales and customer growth across South India for Axis Communications’ video surveillance, access control, intercom, and audio solutions.

Description

  • Grow business across designated end-customer accounts in South India
  • Partner with system integrators, value-added resellers, distributors, and other channel partners to uncover opportunities
  • Build lasting customer and partner relationships while increasing sustainable revenue
  • Support the Axis Channel Partner Program through regular training, coaching, and education
  • Set channel targets, track performance, and help develop an effective partner network
  • Manage assigned customer accounts and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop relationships with end-user and government customers, including law enforcement agencies and state institutions
  • Establish and maintain channel coverage across distributors, system integrators, value-added resellers, and other partners
  • Coordinate partner marketing initiatives with the regional marketing team from planning through follow-up
  • Deliver regional revenue growth against annual and quarterly targets
  • Work with internal teams to expand opportunities and provide a strong customer experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification
  • Five to eight years of experience in a comparable sales or account management position
  • Demonstrated success meeting sales targets through channel partners
  • Experience with end customers, government accounts, system integrators, distributors, or value-added resellers is preferred
  • Ability to understand customer and market needs and assess opportunities by priority
  • Strong relationship development and networking abilities
  • Working knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies, and related applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to handle competing priorities
  • Capable of working effectively independently and collaboratively
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, and commercially astute
  • Uses sound judgment and demonstrates strong professional values
  • Commitment to working in accordance with Axis’ core values
