- Connect the facility with residents, families, and the wider community.
- Prepare reports on budget forecasts, revenue, and expenses.
- Put the organization’s mission, vision, and values into practice, treating employees, residents, and families with respect.
- Take part in community groups and build or maintain relationships with local hospital leaders and physicians.
- Track industry regulations, laws, and compliance updates, and implement changes as needed.
- Study federal and state regulations and learn industry best practices.
- Learn staffing requirements and follow industry and company standards.
- Help monitor and guide changes to policies and procedures.
- Take part in resolving human resources issues and managing risks.
- Support capital improvement projects and safety programs.
- Participate in advisory committees.
- Build and maintain a positive reputation in the industry and community.
- Build relationships with Human Resources, Therapy, Clinical, and Finance teams to meet or exceed goals.
- Support vendor contract negotiations under the Preceptor’s direction.
- Support clinical work by understanding quality assurance measures and holding people accountable.
- Monitor collections and accounts receivable each day.
- Develop and carry out ideas to improve employee engagement and reduce turnover.
- Help oversee employees at multiple levels, including hiring, training, performance reviews, rewards, discipline, complaints, problem resolution, and terminations.
- Carry out duties under the direct supervision of a licensed Precepting Administrator.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Healthcare Administration or Business.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information and answer questions from managers and employees.
- Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, spoken, diagrammed, or scheduled instructions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to use a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods.
- Ability to operate office equipment, including a copier, scanner, fax machine, telephone, and calculator.
