CMI Analyst – Hybrid Legal Onboarding and AML

Support client onboarding, KYC, sanctions screening and AML compliance for Ampa Group’s UK legal-services business. This hybrid role is part of the central Client and Matter Inception team.

  • Support the central Client and Matter Inception team.
  • Deliver a professional, efficient and solution-focused client onboarding experience.
  • Check work requests against internal procedures, AML rules and other regulations.
  • Meet agreed service-level targets to support client needs.
  • Work with legal teams to gather required information and documents.
  • Research clients using firm systems and public sources.
  • Screen for politically exposed persons and sanctions.
  • Prioritise and process requests in line with expectations and agreed service levels.
  • Help resolve client onboarding issues.
  • Gather and assess client information for new business intake.
  • Complete conflict-of-interest checks.
  • Identify and escalate red flags, potential matches and information gaps.
  • Carry out client due diligence at inception and provide feedback to client partners or fee earners.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, decisions and key information.
  • Save work correctly so it can be accessed promptly.
  • Clarify unclear instructions or deadlines with legal teams and requesters.
  • Respond to queries promptly and work towards solutions.
  • Share knowledge and advise internal clients.
  • Adjust shifts occasionally to accommodate meetings, training and client needs.
  • Stay current with onboarding policies and compliance regulations.
  • Undertake other duties appropriate to the role.

आवश्यकताएँ

  • Experience in a comparable role in the legal sector.
  • Knowledge of AML rules and law-firm KYC requirements.
  • Experience onboarding international corporate and individual clients is desirable.
  • Experience interpreting complex company structures is desirable.
  • Accurate and efficient typing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with document, case and practice management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
  • Availability to work 37 hours per week within the 07:00–19:00 schedule.
  • Successful completion of employment checks before employment is confirmed.
