Specialty Account Representative, Hematology and Oncology

  • Oversee complex accounts and build strategic relationships with thought leaders.
  • Use account management expertise to develop additional business.
  • Identify target accounts using knowledge of buy-and-bill, GPO contracting, and distribution channels.
  • Review business data and trends to guide decisions.
  • Set priorities and deliver business plans that support company goals and brand strategies.
  • Work with Marketing, Training, Market Access, Strategy and Operations, and Medical Affairs.
  • Take the lead on projects, attend regional and national meetings, run conferences, and contribute to task forces.
  • Pursue stronger performance and build a career plan with the Regional Sales Director.
  • Follow company policies, government regulations, and administrative requirements.
  • Handle other related duties as assigned.

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 6 years of recent pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • At least 3 years of specialty pharmaceutical experience.
  • Buy-and-bill and hematology/oncology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of account-based sales.
  • Experience selling an infusion product through a buy-and-bill model.
  • General knowledge of reimbursement.
  • Demonstrated sales success in hematology/oncology and hospital accounts or varied care settings in the preferred territory.
  • Ability to build and grow relationships with key stakeholders across complex accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills and business judgment.
  • Product launch experience preferred.
  • Record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Able to travel overnight up to 30% of the time.
  • Able to work in the field and from a home office.
  • Located near a major airport.
  • Able to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Able to comply with company policies, government regulations, the employee handbook, and expense policies.
