Remote Site Contract Specialist in Turkey

Manage investigator contracts, budgets, negotiations, and site activation activities for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s global clinical research services. This Turkey-based remote role covers compliance, risk management, contract operations, and support for country-level process improvement.

Tavsif

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with clinical study sites
  • Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contractual terms within approved parameters
  • Follow negotiation limits, approval requirements, contractual procedures, client expectations, budget guidance, templates, and operating procedures
  • Identify, evaluate, and appropriately escalate legal, financial, and operational risks
  • Recommend solutions and alternative approaches for Investigator Contracts negotiations
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align site startup and contracting work with timelines and site activation milestones
  • Meet established site activation cycle-time targets
  • Monitor activities and prepare required reports
  • Train and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to country process improvements and team meetings
  • Serve as the country subject matter expert for Investigator Contracts training materials
  • Work with Global Site Contracts to maintain compliance with global processes and corporate directives
  • Conduct periodic quality reviews and complete peer feedback reports
  • Lead amendment and novation projects, and manage confidentiality agreement negotiations when required

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent relevant academic or vocational qualification
  • At least five years of comparable experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and capabilities required for the role
  • Relevant education, training, or directly related experience may be accepted in combination
  • Detailed knowledge of contract law, including business, intellectual property, local tax, and stamp laws
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in English and the local language
  • Ability to negotiate investigator grant budgets within approved parameters
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and the role of CROs
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Working knowledge of PPD SOPs and WPDs
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and assess contractual risks and issues
  • Proficiency with automated systems and computer applications
  • Customer-focused communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to independently train and mentor staff
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to Investigator Analysts
  • Strong problem-solving and risk-assessment capabilities
  • Ability to negotiate Investigator Contracts in the best interests of the company and client
