Tavsif

  • Lead Filene’s fintech testing programs with credit unions.
  • Own portfolio oversight and accountability for each test.
  • Guide tests from cohort launch through fieldwork and final reporting.
  • Collaborate with Filene’s research lead on analysis and reporting.
  • Recruit credit unions for test cycles and pair them with appropriate tests.
  • Maintain participating credit union relationships from onboarding through results.
  • Refine testing methods and standards while ensuring consistent quality.
  • Review test plans and arrange the resources they require.
  • Direct test leads and engage contracted support.
  • Manage the annual fintech application and selection process.
  • Conduct applicant outreach and facilitate selection by a credit union executive committee.
  • Help set fintech scouting priorities and identify promising solutions.
  • Guide fintech partners through diligence, contracts, testing, and reporting.
  • Develop connections with solution providers, investors, and industry peers.
  • Lead and develop assigned members of the Incubation team.
  • Uphold Filene’s Credo and contribute to its organizational culture.
  • Advance Filene’s strategy, plans, budgets, and performance measures.
  • Serve Filene staff, members, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with Filene’s research and advisory programs to connect member needs with solutions.
  • Coordinate multiple projects and changing priorities to meet deadlines.

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, innovation, or a related field.
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in program leadership, innovation, partnerships, product implementation, or a related area.
  • Financial services, innovation, fintech, or credit union experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of challenges and opportunities in financial services, fintech, or the credit union sector is preferred.
  • Candidates without direct credit union or CUSO experience should be eager to learn about the credit union industry.
  • Experience setting direction for others’ work and remaining accountable for results.
  • Ability to lead without formal authority.
  • Skill in balancing competing priorities and making clear decisions.
  • Ability to align internal and external contributors on expectations, schedules, and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of active programs.
  • Ability to set priorities and sequence work, allocate resources, and establish consistent execution standards.
  • Ability to build systems and processes that coordinate growing workloads.
  • Experience assessing pilot or program performance.
  • Experience working with researchers to design tests, evaluate results, and produce actionable insights.
  • Experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including fintech partners, contractors, and senior leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly to different audiences.
  • Ability to facilitate groups in person and online.
  • Curiosity about credit unions and their members.
  • Ability to work in a think tank setting that values ideas, change, reinvention, purpose, and precision.
  • Travel of up to 25% is expected, including two annual in-person events, industry conferences, and client visits.
