Opis

  • Deliver timely, courteous service to policyholders and claimants.
  • Respond to calls, file claims, and resolve customer requests.
  • Manage a caseload of litigated and non-litigated claims.
  • Review auto claims, investigate disputes, and collect relevant information and documentation.
  • Assess liability, damages, medical care, and injury severity.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties or their insurers.
  • Follow state regulations, policy terms, and standard procedures.
  • Handle litigation and non-litigation matters arising from auto claims disputes.
  • Communicate with claimants, clients, adjusters, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Attend mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings as needed.
  • Coordinate with defense and claims counsel, litigation managers, approved law firms, and vendors.
  • Review legal documents and follow initial suit-handling plans.
  • Represent the company in discovery, depositions, and trials when needed.
  • Interpret policy language, determine coverage, and prepare coverage correspondence.
  • Manage claim files proactively from opening through closure, including litigated and non-litigated matters.
  • Oversee the work and costs of external vendors, including counsel, experts, and independent adjusters.
  • Keep adjuster licenses current and complete continuing education.
  • Share claims findings with product and engineering teams to support process and technology improvements.

Zahteve

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but applicants with all other qualifications are encouraged to apply without one.
  • Required experience handling rideshare, TNC, or livery claims.
  • At least three years of focused rideshare claims adjusting experience.
  • Experience with commercial auto exposures.
  • Experience handling claims with and without attorney representation.
  • Experience with third-party bodily injury claims, including catastrophic losses.
  • Experience with UM/UIM bodily injury claims.
  • Litigation experience.
  • PIP experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of state regulations, policy terms, and standard procedures.
  • Willingness to travel for client and claims needs.
  • An active adjuster license is required: a resident-state license where available, or otherwise a Designated Home State (DHS) license.
  • Willingness to obtain all required licenses within 60 days, including completing state-required testing.
