Descriere

  • Conduct job analyses using position questionnaires, interviews with employees and supervisors, and updates to job descriptions across large position inventories
  • Use point-factor or comparable job evaluation methodologies
  • Develop or improve classification frameworks and job family structures
  • Compare transit-specific roles with positions at peer transit agencies
  • Assist with employee communications, appeals, and implementation planning
  • Present recommendations and findings to executive leaders and governing boards
  • Provide qualifications and past-performance content for AlphaGov proposals when authorized

Cerințe

  • At least seven years of classification and compensation experience, including work with large public-sector or transit employers
  • Practical experience with point-factor job evaluation and writing job descriptions for extensive position inventories
  • Background benchmarking jobs and developing classification structures and pay ranges
  • Excellent written communication and presentation abilities for executive and board audiences
  • Willingness to work as a 1099, project-based collaborator with travel as needed
  • Experience in an HR, classification, or compensation role at a transit authority preferred
  • Experience supporting represented and non-represented transit workforces preferred
  • CCP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Experience working with Texas public employers preferred
