Descriere
- Design, build, and evolve robust, maintainable data pipelines and models
- Orchestrate workflows with Airflow, including monitoring, alerts, retries, and quality checks
- Create and enhance analytical models with dbt using modularity, testing, documentation, and lineage
- Help define layered architectures and data contracts for BI, analytics, and AI
- Improve process performance, cost efficiency, and reliability
- Identify technical debt and opportunities to simplify systems
- Collaborate with business, BI, and platform teams to turn requirements into sustainable data solutions
- Explore and apply AI use cases to improve development, quality, documentation, and data utilization
Cerințe
- Around four years of data engineering experience; shorter careers may be considered when they demonstrate equivalent seniority, impact, and autonomy
- Strong command of SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake
- Knowledge of data modeling, version control, CI/CD, observability, and data quality
- Ability to analyze complex problems, propose alternatives, and explain technical decisions clearly
- Product mindset with a collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
- Experience with data governance, catalogs, lineage, security, or cost management is valued
- Experience modernizing platforms from legacy processes toward reusable models and semantic layers is valued
- Experience applying generative AI or machine learning to data engineering or new data products is valued
- Willingness to share knowledge, review code, and raise the team's technical standards is valued
